My Baby Shower!
In the month of September, we were showered by our loved ones in preparation for the arrival of our son. The shower couldn’t have been more perfect. It was an au natural theme featuring garlands, fresh sunflowers, daisies, and eucalyptus. The food was brunch-style with vegan and non-vegan options to choose from. And let’s not forget those delicious “MOM–mosas” and glitter lavender strawberries by Mimi’s Chocolates! We jammed out to 70’s funk as we played fun games and fellowshipped with one another. Gender Reveal: We’re Having A…
A few weeks ago, my husband and I had no intuitive feeling about what our baby’s gender was. I suppose we were still processing the reality of expecting a real baby and we chose not to anticipate the gender. However, I had heard plenty of old wives tales about how to identify the gender. For instance: Carrying low means it’s a girl and high means it’s a boy, and craving salty foods means it’s a boy and craving fruit means it’s a girl (cold fruit is my new BFF by the way).
