Beatin’ the Heat in Arizona: Our Baby Moon!

My husband and I had a BLAST celebrating our “babymoon” in Arizona! I love that each trip brings us closer together as we experience new sceneries and exciting adventures with each another. Sounds so cheesy but it’s true!

Andrew and I stayed at Sanctuary on Camelback Mountain Resort for 5 days. This place blew us away! I have to say, Sanctuary is officially on my list of top three resorts. It has an exceptional spa, a lively restaurant, and let’s not forget the infinity pool! The location is settled in Paradise Valley, Arizona on Camelback Mountain where the scenery is a complete desert paradise. The staff at Sanctuary are very attentive and treat you like kings and queens with their on-point hospitality and customer service. If you haven’t caught on yet, I totally recommend this place! 🙂

During our time in Arizona, we rented a car and explored the Phoenix area and even visited Arizona State University. OF COURSE, my husband absolutely had to re-visit ASU’s track which is where he happened to compete back in his college track and field days.

We also made our way up north a couple of hours to Sedona which completely took our breath away! This place is completely beyond me! We experienced monsoon weather conditions of high winds, humidity, thunderstorms, and pouring rain in Sedona along with emergency flash flood warnings. This California girl was excited to see some action (Apparently, I don’t get out much!)

I look forward to visiting Arizona in the near future!

Next stop: The Grand Canyon!
