    A few weeks ago, my husband and I had no intuitive feeling about what our baby’s gender was. I suppose we were still processing the reality of expecting a real baby and we chose not to anticipate the gender. However, I had heard plenty of old wives tales about how to identify the gender. For instance: Carrying low means it’s a girl and high means it’s a boy, and craving salty foods means it’s a boy and craving fruit means it’s a girl (cold fruit is my new BFF by the way).     WE’RE PREGNANT!

    WE’RE PREGNANT! Okay, so maybe you’ve already known for a while due to my posts on social media but we’re expecting our first child! Looking back, it’s funny how things work out. In February, I was afraid that we’d have more trouble conceiving even after my operations. Before we discovered that we were expecting, we sat down in our living room and discussed our family plans. Plan A: Continue to hope and try for a baby for at least a year. If that didn’t work out, then we’d result to Plan B: contact my doctor to discuss IVF.
