New Year, New Hair-Do: Box Braids
Confession: I haven’t had braids in TEN years! Yes, let’s repeat that ten! I’m sure some of you are wondering why. I guess a few bad experiences left me feeling a little burnt regarding my salon experiences. In addition to this, I wasn’t a personal fan of hair extensions either. (Disclaimer: I’m not against those that love something a little extra!)
However, for the past few months, I’ve had a little spark inside me that has desired to revisit braids. Mostly because I’m SO over my hair. I’m thankful for the hair that I have but your girl needs a break!
I absolutely love my new hair-do and can’t wait to style and experiment along the way!
