Vegan Peanut Butter Chocolate Truffles
Hey friends! Craving something chocolatey? Well, you’ve come to the right place! It’s pretty much my responsibility to create a dark chocolatey treat, especially since I have a husband that’s an avid cocoa lover. One thing that I love about this recipe is that you can put anything you like in the center of your chocolate coating. This could strawberries, dates, you name it!
Ingredients: Vegan chocolate, almond milk (to assist in melting the chocolate), peanut butter, and sea salt.
First step, grab your favorite peanut butter. I used Justin’s Classic Peanut Butter, it’s gluten-free, vegan, and packed with a great amount of protein! Place it on parchment paper in individual circles. Now freeze while you’re preparing your chocolate sauce!
With melted vegan dark chocolate, add your sauce on top of your frozen peanut butter. Don’t forget to make it quick, you don’t want your peanut butter to melt (Hence, the little drizzles in the photo.) Now, sprinkle your treats lightly with sea salt then place your tray in the freezer for at least one hour.
Time to get your grub on!
